When you hear the word networking does it evoke a superficial\, soulless exchange of cards that rarely leads to genuine new connections--or business? This group\, in part\, will still be about making connections\, leads for client acquisition\, a referral source for our clients\, and in the long run a business builder. I want us ladies to be able to find a place where we can let our hair down\, relax\, ask any questions and know you will receive support. A place where women in all industries are able to access a sense of belonging\, where we can forge lasting friendships and interact with people who have like-minded challenges and ambitions. I am envisioning this group also being a place where we can take our "business hat" off once every few months and do something together as a group\, with our families\, go out to dinner or drinks\, volunteer and give back to our communities\, etc. I know that some of us are juggling work life and home life\, so I am entertaining the idea of holding two meetings a month. One during the morning hours\, and one in the evening hours so that everyone has an opportunity to take part. Let's share some ideas\, a few laughs\, start making authentic connections\, and discover the power of women supporting other women!
